Masterful Candle Care
To ensure your Black Pearls candle maintains its beauty and provides an optimal fragrance diffusion, we recommend the following rituals:
The Perfect Burn

Trim the Wick: Before every light, trim wicks to 6 mm (¼ inch). This prevents soot and ensures a steady, elegant flame.

Prevent Tunneling: On the first light, allow the entire surface of the wax to melt completely.

Timing: Once the wax pool has liquefied to the edges, do not burn for more than one additional hour.

Safety First: Never burn the final few centimeters of wax to protect the hand-blown glass from overheating.
Maintenance & Storage

Vessel Care: Regularly clean the interior of the glass with a non-alcoholic product to maintain its brilliant clarity.

Wick Alignment: Gently straighten wicks while the wax is still soft after extinguishing.

Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place at room temperature to preserve the integrity of the precious fragrance oils.
A Note on Craftsmanship:
Each vessel is hand-blown, making every Black Pearls candle a unique piece of art. The "precious black speckles" within the glass are a testament to the artisan's touch, ensuring no two candles are exactly alike.

Our Signature Packaging
Each gift is prepared with care. Customers may select a notecard and add a handwritten message when that option is available. Packaging varies according to the gift and may include:
- Signature ekuBOX: A soft-touch gift box finished with satin ribbon.
- Gift Box: A keepsake gift box finished with satin ribbon.
- “Out of the Box” Items: Certain gifts are presented in an ekuBOX gift bag rather than a gift box. The applicable presentation is identified on the product page when relevant.
ekuBOX gift boxes are curated around a particular theme and presentation. Because many specialty products have limited or seasonal availability, an item may occasionally become unavailable.
When necessary, ekuBOX may substitute a product that is similar in function and quality and has an equal or greater retail value. We select substitutions with consideration for the gift’s overall theme, presentation and intended use.
If a proposed substitution would materially change the gift’s theme or intended use, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the purchaser before shipment.

Most orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays and ekuBOX’s annual closure. Processing time is the time required to prepare an order for shipment and does not include carrier transit time.
During November, December and other high-volume periods, processing may require additional time.
Standard shipping is $15 for each gift box or package shipped within the 48 contiguous United States. The charge applies to every gift box or package in an order, regardless of whether packages are sent to the same address or different addresses. Oversized-package charges and rates for Alaska and Hawaii are displayed at checkout.

Eligible ekuBOX gifts include the option to select a notecard and add a handwritten message. Your message will be handwritten on the selected card, placed in an envelope and finished with our signature ekuBOX wax seal.
How to Add Your Message
1. Choose Your Card Design
Select “Pick a Card” and choose from the available card designs.
2. Enter Your Message
Enter your message in the message field on the product page. Messages are limited to the number of characters displayed in the message field.
3. Request a Blank Card
If you prefer to write the note yourself, select a card and choose the option to leave the message blank.
4. Choose No Card
If you do not want a card included, select the “No Card Is Needed” option.
Important Information
If a Card Is Selected Without a Message
If you select a card but do not provide a message, we will include the selected card without a handwritten message.
Message Accuracy
Messages are handwritten using the wording supplied with the order. Please review names, spelling, punctuation and the recipient’s information before submitting your order. We may contact the purchaser when a message appears incomplete or unclear, but we cannot guarantee that we will identify every error.
